Malvar Senior High School conducts 1st PTA confab

On Thursday, August 24, 2023, Malvar Senior High School held its first Parent-Teacher Conference to encourage collaboration and communication between parents/guardians and faculty members for the upcoming academic year.

The conference began with a general assembly where the school’s principal, Mrs. Rosalie L. Liwanag welcomed parents and guardians. She expressed her gratitude for their continued support and emphasized the critical role that parents play in their children’s education.

During the assembly, parents had the opportunity to meet the faculty members and staff who would be guiding their children throughout the year.

Toward the end of her talk, Mrs. Liwanag discussed the school’s expenditures to ensure transparency in its operations.

Following the general assembly, parents and guardians went to the assigned classrooms where they met their children’s class advisers. The session was about the following agenda: introduction of the class adviser, class schedule, subject offerings for Grade 11 and Grade 12, school policies, Child Protection Policy, and election of PTA officers for SY 2023-2024.
